Recognized for her academic excellence, Sara was honored in her Masters program with membership in the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi honor society. 

Driven by her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum, Sara pursued a MA in Applied Behavior Analysis at the esteemed Florida Institute of Technology. Her advanced education provided her with the necessary skills and expertise to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst while obtaining further requirements to ultimately become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 

Currently, Sara Mackenzie Taylor Durm actively contributes to the mission of Lighthouse Kids Centers for Autism, an organization that empowers learners on the autism spectrum to acquire functional skills leading to independence and inclusion. Through her invaluable contributions, she plays a vital role in creating client programs tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each individual.

Sara's dedication goes beyond program development; she conducts comprehensive assessments of clients and their skill levels to ensure that they receive the most effective and individualized support. Her unwavering commitment to helping those on the autism spectrum live their best lives is evident in the positive outcomes achieved by the learners she serves.

As a previous philanthropy chair for KBG, organizing sorority involvement in the Special Olympics community, Sara Mackenzie Taylor Durm exemplifies the values of dedication, compassion, and inclusivity.
